Sounds like using that combination will allow you to take portraits under moonlight only. :)

Just about. Was shooting with it in a bar on friday, no flash. got a couple good shots. It's hard to get good shots at 1/15 though, I need 1/25 for acceptable portraits and more for actually sharp images.
