I agree what you say, but I am not practised at panning so I will also
be wanting some fast shutter shots to get something in the bag. Also
even for straight on shots, I am worried about camera shake, as I have
found the 500mm difficult to handhold and I cannot guarantee a suitable
vantage point to use a monopod and still see over heads etc. Also the
faster the film the bigger DOF I can have (except on the fixed F8 lens
which is also MF).

Provia 400 (rated either 400 or 800) for slides
Supra 400 and 800 for Print

BTW admin@robertstech thought it was suggested to push Sensia 400 up to
800 - will this be any good?
