The CompactDrive has no picture display but it copies the data from the card to the drive then it goes through separate a verify cycle, if all went well with the copy the display shows a smiley face. It uses 4 AA batteries and can provide up to 50GB transfer on a good set of fully charged 2500mAh Ni-MH batteries and on top of that it transfers from card to hard drive very quickly. I'm pretty pleased with mine, I certainly wouldn't recommend a Vosonic unit over it. The only really dodgy thing about it is that they made the card slot too shallow in order to grab some board real-estate which makes the CF pins vulnerable to failure, so great care is required when inserting CF cards. http://www.compactdrive.com/ Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://members.ozemail.com.au/~distudio/publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998
