I've used Digital Velvia occasionally in the past. It's a Photoshop action
that can be purchased. Saturation is adjustable.

Of course whether film does it, the camera does it, you do it manually with
software, or a 3rd party piece of software does it... well you already
know...

Subject: Problems getting Velvia into my *ist-DS
Date: Mon, 26 Sep 2005 13:35:19 -0700
Hey Folks,
So, this weekend I did my first serious work with my new *ist-DS. The
results are pretty good, considering it was my first time out. I am used to
shooting Velvia on film cameras; with my *ist-DS the results I liked the
most were obtained by setting the exposure compensation to -0.5 to -1. But
I
think the intense color saturation is not quite there, though. Maybe I
should increase the "saturation" option? Or does this just do nothing that
can't be done post-processing in image manipulation software?
It's funny---I don't mind using Velvia, but the idea of using my image
manipulation software to enhance the saturation of an image seems cheating.
Silly, I know, but there you have it.

P.S. Taking photos, then loading them onto my computer for viewing was a
trip! No mailers, no fruitless visits to the post office box...the images
were right there!
