ilustrator is better than draw & freehand in what way? I use both corel
& illustrator and corel has the edge in most areas except
the way it creates fountain fills and transparency fades. You can't even
open up more than a one page document in illustrator,
I could go on all day with comparisions, but corel would be superior in
most regards. I havn't used freehand since 8 and mostly
for digitising as I was working for an embrodeiry company at the time,
but I wouldn't use freehand for anything else.....

to use Illustrator, although i haven't needed to upgrade from 10 to
CS. that's coming though.

Last semester I took a graphic design course that used Illustrator
heavily. After finishing the course, I deleted the trial version of
Illustrator from my computer and vowed that Adobe would have to pay *me*
to take the commercial version.
