Is there an equivalent of the PC 'three fingered salute' to do a complete
camera reset without undergoing a firmware change that anyone knows
about? Have tried the 'reset' under menu but this only resets the custom
functions etc. rather than rebooting camera.
Take the button battery out, along with the main battery, and leave the
camera sit for a few minutes.
Thanks, can't imagine why I didn't think of that but unfortunately it hasn't
helped. Out of interest I was surprised just how long I had to leave the
batteries out to make any change - an hour was not sufficient although
overnight was.
Think I'll try replacing the button battery with a new one and maybe upgrade
firmware to 1.12 as a last shot, if not back it goes.
