The one that broke off was the only one that was tight. You might be able to 
notice some wear on the wheel around the loose stud holes. If so, this could be 
the source of the continual loosening.

Oh things will get worse. Much worse. It will start with fingerprints on
your lenses, dust on your focusing screens and mysterious smudges on all
your filters. Then they'll really get nasty and leave all your film in the
hot sun.

Those digital guys are pure unadulterated evil...
