Interesting, Shel. Yes, now I remember the K 50/1.4 focus feel - <g>. I've actually had a number of the various Pentax 50/1.4's over time (including some sweet screwmount ones), but most of them have gone on to new homes (usually along with a body that they were attached to). I think I had only two K 50/1.4's - one went fixed on a lovely black KX and the other left on a nice black K2. I think I still have an SMC Takumar 50/1.4 on my (pre-ES) Electro-Spotmatic body. I'd say that the A 50/1.4 is easily the most used 50 that I still have - I don't have any older K-mount 50/1.4's around any more, and the A 50/1.2 that I also have sees use only for special circumstances (very low light). Oh, I still have one of those really nice A 50/2.8 Macro lenses, which I'll never get rid of. Actually, I do have a handful of M and A (mostly M, I'd say) 50/2's and 50/1.7's kicking around here, but they're sort of "un-inventoried"... Fred
