Hi Paul,

you really caught the moment!
However, of course it's not kind having taken the young ladies like this. I hope you talked to them afterwards and asked politely for permission to show it on the web.

In a german photo forum, there is a recent thread about street photography, photographers's rights, and of course, politeness and social behaviour WRT images of people.

Don't get me wrong, I love taking people, known or foreign, in intimate moments. I think it's just a matter of respect letting them know and ask for their permission, at least afterwards.

The other day at an eshibition opening, I saw a woman trying to take photos with her digi, and couldn't resist to taking a little movie of her and her efforts. Obviously, she was fighting with her cam to focus, as the picture was in neon pink and yellow, which seemed too much for her camera. I told her, and she was happy to get the film and the pictures I had taken, so everything was fine. I hope you get the point.

Cheers,
Pancho

"Why is he taking our picture," I heard one of them say. There are some things that can't be done gracefully. Hope this helps chase any negative feelings out of the list. Shot on a walkaround this afternoon with the DA 16-45/4. f4, 1/90 ISO 200, 45mm. For extra points. What kind of car is that in the background? I have to admit I didn't even notice it until I looked at this photo.
