Nope, not me. I like the MZ-S grip too. But I never bothered to get one for the *ist D. I like it small. And the battery consumption isn't really a problem. I use rechargeable MHMI's and occasionally the Lithium CRV3's. The latter will do for app.. 1000 shots. Very rarely I miss the portrait mode release button, though. Regards Jens Bladt
