Shel,
I've often wished I had used my name in the site title. I've had a
number of people vent their frustration in trying to find my site after
having either forgotten its name (Photo Light Images) or simply learned
that I had a site.
When trying various search terms (I no longer pay "Overture" for same)
to check the availability of my site, it's clear that a subject related
name would have been logical. Scenic, wildlife, people, nature. In your
case, if you were to chose a name other than your own, while not
exclusive, it would seem appropriate to incorporate the words "city",
"street" or "people" or some such.
Give searchers something they may be looking for as part of the site
name. It's one thought.
I've found an electronic portfolio to be a help and a pleasure to
maintain.
