The F is actually a completely different lens from the FA, which is
unusual. The comments on Stan's site suggest the FA is considerably
better than the F.

If that's the same lens optically as the FA28/2.8, I expect it will be a
fine performer. Juan Buhler bought one of the FAs recently and I'm
tempted to do the same given what his results look like. :-)
