I dunno. The answer would probably vary from user to user, but I'll be that most of the crew on the PDML have accumulated more 50's than they know what to do with - <g>. > Anyone else have a large assortment of lenses with the same focal length? I don't know how many 50's I've got (not as many as I used to have - a number of them went out the door as "fat body caps" on some eBay-bound bodies). I've got an A 50/2.8 Macro that I'll never lose. I've got an A 50/1.4 that I'll be holding onto. I've got an A 50/1.2 that I use only rarely and probably ought to sell. I do have a few (number???) 50/2's and 50/1.7's (mostly M's, I think) that I ought to send along to new homes (if I ever get around to digging 'em out of their hiding places - <g>). I don't use 50's too often, it seems (not counting the A 50/2.8 Macro, which is my "compact travelin' macro") - I tend to use telephotos more than wides, and wides more than normals. Fred
