I couldn't care less what kind of typography is on the prism of my
camera. If it does everything I want and accepts K-mount lenses, I will
be happy. Brand names don't have any effect on image quality, and I
hope my work is never judged by the type of camera I use to produce it.

Your top-end cameras don't make much money in and of themselves, but
they help move your affordable stuff. Nikon and Canon have known that
for years, as has Sony (though in the video field, not photography).
That is if any DSLRs have Samsung on the prism, my camera certainly
wont.
