I recommend the "whole mess of lenses" approach. :-) You can probably find a shop to fix the issues with your M50/1.4 for a MUCH cheaper fee than you would pay for an FA50/1.4. I just had a complete CLA done on my A50/1.4, for $45. Lens focus feels MUCH better, there's no looseness in the helicoid, and the lens elements are spotless now. -Mat
