Bill, that is another alternative - I still have my MZ-S, and China last year demonstrated that it's still a good way to go! Actually, the film I took must have been x-rayed a dozen times in all without coming to any harm - even when checked in.
Were I going to be travelling for an extended period of time, it's what I would be using. I went to somewhat extraordinary means to shoot digital on a two week "camping" vacation that had no access to AC power unless I provided it.
