Those were my thoughts too, when I bought the *istD back in October
2003. I couldn't stand the thought of letting my beloved 645 system
gathering dust.
Guess what happened...:-(
Hmmm.... Well, I don't have that backpack filled with 645 gear... And I
do admit that the thought of powering up my scanner makes me suddenly
feel lazy... Yet, I am thinking of trying a roll of Velvia, since I
never shot a good slide film in my life...
The *istD is awfully good for anything like trial and error or
exercise... I don't know about the rest... ("don't know" == "am ignorant")
