When I bought my *istD about a year and a half ago, I was abolutely
certain that I would continue to shoot film. For my first shoot, two days
later, I brought both the *istD and my 6x7, thinking I would just play a
bit with the *istD and do the job with the 6x7. The 6x7 never came out of
its case. I haven't shot a roll of film since them, although I plan to do
so one of these days. I really do. Maybe with my ancient Leica. Or the
6x7. Soon.
Paul and I are probably the funniest conversions.
Before buying my istD, I was calling it a crippled whore, I think Paul had
coined cheap plastic toy as his pejorative.
