Jens, I am sorry, but you're mistaken.

Pentax DSLRs is rather soft and generally poor quality of JPG straight out of the camera. But if you resolve to shoot RAW - you'll be just fine. Don, I doubt however that *istD will work with older (high discharge voltage) flashes... You may have to buy the adapter... If you need, I think I have a link at home that points to at least one possible place where this adaptor can be found. -- Boris
