Is Delta 400 extra thick maybe? Are there any other settings
on the camera that would effect this? (I can't think of any)
Delta shouldn't be a problem.
Is it an MLU or pre MLU camera?
Here is a little experiment you can try...
With no film in the camera, open the back a couple of inches and rotate the
thumbwheel in the center of the frame counter until it is showing a frame
number. While holding it, close the back.
The camera will now work as if it has film in it.
If it is still hard to advance, you have a flakey film advance.
Send it for repairs.
If it is normal feeling, you have a problem on the supply side, which you
may be able to fix with a judicious application of appropriate lubricant to
the film spool holders.
The bottom spool holders are somewhat susceptible to corrosion and dirt.
