When folks hear (or read) what other folks say (or write) that (at least at
first) appears absurd, it's common practice to translate back to them how
they "hear" what the other person has said. There is no other way for others
to know how their words are perceived or if they were properly understood.
If the perception is not correct, the author has a chance to clarify.
Otherwise what was said remains understood as perceived.
Is there some more tactful or politically correct way I could have said what
I said? Yes. But I am not in the mood for tact or political correctness
right now.

Bob, we all know that you are a good patriot...sometimes too much

And we know that Herb sometimes writes posts that are well over the board.
But please do not "translate" what other people write, or interpret it
for them. Others could return the same "favour" to you.
I have read several posts on this thread from the people on similar
side as you, and I have made a pretty trourough idea about them,
unfortunately. But is this - the PDML - the place for discussing such
things? Some of the posts here were bordering on fascist, in my
interpretation (and no, I won't say whose), but even more so, this is
not the right place for discussing that. At least I feel so.
Please feel free to continue whatever you all want :)
