Yeah, they'd have to sell new glass to those who bought DA lenses. Wouldn't want to do that, would they? <g> I haven't used any DA lenses myself, but several others have reported that they cover more than the APS-C area, enough for full-frame, in some cases. And Canon seems to do fine selling DSLR's that don't work with their reduced-image-circle lenses.
