I have a small bag on the handlebar which can carry a Leica M and some
sandwiches. It's lightly padded and very convenient to use. There is also
space for keys, wallet, puncture repair kit etc. It is quick and easy to
remove from the handlebar, thanks to the magic of Velcro, and has a tuckaway
strap so I can use it as a bumbag, or sling it over my shoulder, when I'm
off the bike.

It's similar to this, only smaller and a better fit, and not so dorky when
it's attached:
