I don't know if that is true, Frank. I will admit the vast majority of
those convicted of such crimes are men, but it is 10 times as hard to
convict a woman as it is to convict a man, and that is of the ones
actually brought up for trial. Men are probably 100 times more likely to
be arrested for the same crime as women are. Take your pedophilia, a man
taking photos of fully dressed kids in public has a good chance of being
arrested, while a woman actually trying to have sex with a child is
likely to be let go.
There do not seem to be many boogiewomen in peoples minds.
