My first G3 was DOA, despite Vistek having spent a week to "check it
out" before allowing me the honor of picking it up and paying for it.
It happens. Sorry it had to be you.
Of course, here's one more advantage to buying from a local
bricks'n'mortar shop (if you've got one around): you can take the camera
out of the box and make sure it works before you get it home. ;)
