With both photos, you've inspired me to work harder on my sky shots, although, I rarely seem to get as lovely a sky (or foreground) to work with as you do.
In my landscapes the sky always seems muddy (I blame pollution -- when you fly around here, you can see a brown layer about 2000 to 3000 above sea level) and the clouds are ill-defined. So I'm definitely loving all the detail I can see in your photo. Don't worry about the bottom, it's fine as far as I'm concerned.
