Something to what you say there, Rob.
If your production line is at capacity it costs almost as much to put in
another line for the existing camera as to introduce a new one. Which
probably is why there is only a trickle of isD still coming out, they
only have the one old slow production line for it. Just making a wild
guess I would say there are two for the DS one producing the DS and one
producing the DS2 which would explain why they are not marketing the DS2
worldwide, and one more producing the DL.
If sales where slower than they seem they would probably be shutting
down a line and switching back and forth producing 2 models on one line,
but then there would be no conceivable reason for two different DS models.
