It sounds like you've already decided where to put your money, so get
on with it. Obviously no one here is going to change your mind. Pentax
obviously can't produce new models at a pace that will satisfy you.
You've made that clear. Move on.

Paul,
My comments are with regard to Pentax as a brand in general, what they
are offering, and where they are going, in comparison with the market
competition. Did I ever say that 'Pentax produces a product that
gives inferior results', or name a Pentax camera and state it produces
bad results? Never have those words left my mouth or my fingertips.
I sincerely don't think there's any bashing going on. Yes, I am
unhappy with Pentax because they are so slow to bring new offerings to
market, and offerings that are on a par with their competition
(spec-wise) in a time-frame that actually allows them to compete. I'm
unhappy because they seem to want to play the low-end and very
high-end of the market (assuming there's a 645D that's too expensive
to justify).
The slowness, in general, does not bode well in today's market place.
I'm not evaluating any particular model of camera. I'm looking at it
from a 'deciding where to put future money' standpoint.

Hmmm. In all fairness your negative comments are confined largely to
cameras you don't own or use. That's more like bashing than valid
evaluation. But bash on. I find it all somewhat amusing.
