On that note, I'd suggest you get a battery charger and rechargable batteries, as well as a card reader (all three things are quite cheap). You'll definitely need the charger kit, and the reader is faster and safer than reading the cards directly from the camera (e.g. if the batteries are low when you're uploading into the PC you risk losing the images).
