Apples and oranges... The D200 is competition for the current 20D (APS-C; 5fps, 8mp) and whatever succeeds it and whatever succeeds the *ist D. Just as the D100 was competition for the 10D and *ist D. The 5D right now is in a class by itself....
I wish Pentax had something similar as an istD successor ready soon... :-(
It's pretty much what I expect Pentax to produce..... eventually..... maybe.....
