Besides the sunny 16 rule which I've got down pat now (I'm still waiting for a
sunny day here in Southern Hemisphere), are there any other rules to use for not
so sunny days. Any little rhymes perhaps???. I too have a Spotmatic with a meter
which doesn't work (it's got no battery) (I think it works fine with a battery
but havn't checked lately). Or is there a web site with a guide to exposure
settings for various conditions???
I used my Spotmatic happily for 10 years, until the

Your Spotmatic is not broken! - who needs a stinking meter
for "Sunny 16" flower shots in good light, anyway. I suggest
that you unload that overly automated paperweight and return
to the "True Art of Photography" w/ your Spotmatic. Just pretend
it is a "newer model" H2 and go bananas. :^)
