All I can say is that I have had two LX bodies and they are so easily 
dented, scratched and damaged that I must consider them to be the 
most succeptible to damage pro-bodies I have ever used. For the sake 
of comparison the mostly plastic Canon T90 body I owned many years 
ago survived bumping or falling much better than an LX.
