The person for whom I made earlier inquiries about Mac photo software does indeed have iPhoto on her computer. Trouble is, it doesn't seem to want to accept images from her HP scanner. In the scanner software you have the option of passing the image to another application immediately after scanning. This works fine with the HP applets and to Apple's Works v6 image editing application. But not to iPhoto. After scanning, iPhoto opens but no image loads.
