25 year old lenses often have what we tech types refer to as "Gunk!" in them. It does tend to slow down the diaphagm action. A CLA will most likely make it work OK for another 20-25 years.

Hello all,

Today, I've received my 'new' M2.8/35 mm and the aperture closes
extremely slow. I had just discarded another lens of this type for
exactly the same reason. Never had such trouble with any of my other
Pentax lenses.
Is there something about the 2.8/35 mm?

Ralf
