Shel, I have a suggestion which is related to your question only indirectly. When you switch lenses I (humbly) suggest you turn off the camera... I started doing it about a month ago. I should say that it does indeed reduce the amount of dust your sensor may be collecting. It did for me... And I change the lenses outdoors at least half of the time.

But of course it will if you don't use your camera Boris. Put it in a dark corner some place , never turn it on and you will have zero dust problems :-)

The inference that the sensor somehow attracts dust whilst it is on I think you will find is flawed. You have been the recipient of good luck I'd suggest.

Could be... I try to keep my mind away from the dust so that it does not bother me all too much ;-).
