The dolphin is a discontinuity -- a fault -- in the crystal lattice.

Crystals -- perfect and imperfect -- make incredibly interesting 'modern art' images. Making them is an art in itself and a rather hit and miss business. So when I have a good result I need to be able to take dozens of pictures fast and see the results immediately. The digital is good for this. But that's not all, my main projects are microbiological.
