LOL All these sites started back when Google said they scan words in emails in order to target text ads to you. People reacted like it was the end of the world. The fact is, all online email services scan your emails. Maybe to serve you ads, maybe to search for viruses. It's not like they have a bunch of interns looking at the emails you send your lover--it is a computer doing it. More: email should never be considered private or safe. It goes through the net unencrypted, you know. Anyone can look at those packets with a little effort. The fact that Gmail by default keeps all email without deleting any is not really a big deal considering that. How do you know your isp is not backing up their data *including your email!* and keeping copies of that forever? Me, I think there's safety in numbers. j -- Juan Buhler http://www.jbuhler.com photoblog at http://photoblog.jbuhler.com
