Hmm. Well, the DS2 plus DA18-55 would run you US$900 at
BuyDig.com ... that puts it up to US$1350 plus shipping with your
import duty. Pretty steep, but it's a darn good camera.
The DL is just as compatible with older lenses as the DS/DS2. The DL
viewfinder is not quite as good and it has less sophisticated AF and
flash systems. However, I bet it will make a photograph of equal
quality. If you're on a budget and already have some Pentax lenses,
I'd say you'll get as much or more out of it than switching to
another brand at the same pricing level.
