Congratulations. I'm not sure what sort of photographic work you will be doing with your camera, so I can't comment on what additional lenses you would need.
If you can get by indefinitely with the lenses you have, then that would be a good thing. If you can use the lens that you get with the d50 or rebel, and you don't think you would need any additional lenses, then that would also be good. But if you need extra lenses for work, then that would make you spend more money, I think. And it sounds like you want to spend as little money as possible. I can't truly comment -- I am not terribly fond of manual focus right now so I would lean towards having a camera and automatic lens setup. Also, where is the nearest repair place for each brand of camera? Seems like that should also be a factor, unless they are all out of the country.
