The question really should be how strong is the pull of the Pentax name or you "loyalty" to the brand? The glass you have OK of course you will have to be prepared using the camera in a less than optimal semi-manual way. The Pentax is obviously not great value where you are, it wouldn't be my first choice given your situation.
