Interesting... Your progression of feelings and thoughts are the same as mine... Christ on the cross, a gallows (or a dead body hung up as a warning), and the bull's-eye. It does have a violent undertone, even though as you suggest it looks like playground equipment.

It makes me think about death. Violent death. First I see Christ on the
cross. (I'm not a religious man, but are very sensitive towards religious
symbols). Second I see a gallows. I also see a shooting mark. The ground
seems to be from a desolated area.

I wonder if the picture is a bit too tightly framed. I think I want the
diagonals to go from corner to corner.
