My *ist-D has developed a problem, the DOF and Green button no longer stop down the lens. This is a serious problem for me since I have mostly K lenses. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes Pentax USA to repair digital? Some idea of cost would also be appreciated as well.
Just out of curiosity, does the DOF position on the on-off switch stop the lens down?
I'm asking because the DOF preview on my first *ist D died within days of taking delivery of the camera. Sorry, I didn't get it repaired; instead the dealer just traded it for a new one.
