I tried your HSV suggestion, and I agree it looks a lot better. You may have solved a recurring issue for me there!

Concerning the colour space, I have many bad experiences with sRGB for web. It may be something I do wrong, I don't know... -But embedding the Adobe profile has given more consistent results for me...

I notice that you posted it with an Adobe RGB (1998) profile embedded; you'd probably do better to convert it to sRGB (and embed the sRGB tag) for web posting.

It is a bit too blue, although I agree that light in the forest can be bluish. An HSV adjustment layer and desaturating in the Cyans by 50% cleans it up beautifully.
