Another nice birdie, Bruce.

It's a Great Egret. Easily distinguished from other white egrets by the big yellow bill and black legs. The Snowy Egret has a black bill and is slightly smaller. The cattle egret is much smaller and has a smaller bill.

Subject: PESO - White Bird


While I was stalking the turkeys yesterday, I saw this bird fly past
and land in a not too distant tree.  I was hoping to get a few shots
of him before he took off.  I moved slowly towards him and took a
shot.  Then moved to the side a bit and got this shot.  He took off
right after this shot.  I got one in flight.  If someone wants to ID
the bird I would be grateful.
