I have the same scanner. Print film is easy enough. I have yet to achieve a decent slide scan. So far, auto-correction and a bit of desaturation seem to get close to the real thing if the photo was taken with plenty of light. Most of my dawn/dusk slides have proven to be unscannable. The scanner just won't pull the details out of the shadows. When you figure it out, let me know.
