Yes, medium format prices are plunging. Just have a look through the eBay Pentax medium format category. I found a 645 with 120 film insert and 75mm lens for 375 USD "buy it now" price! For film shooters who don't need ultra-wide or very long telephoto lenses, medium format should be pretty hard to resist these days. Some they seem to be resisting, though. I suspect many aren't as anti-digital as they claim and are really waiting for DSLR's to get better and cheaper... ;-)
