Thanks for your comments, Shel and Paul.  I agree with the microphone
part.  Both this and the last photo of this series were taken at a
venue where my shooting options were limited.  Other than taking
photos from this angle (on either side), my other options were to move
directly in front of her, where the mic would obscure her face even
more.

As I wanted to capture her "full song", the mic was pretty much always
where it is now.

No matter.  Despite its imperfections, I'm fairly pleased with what I
got from this roll.

But, Shel:  The shot is "ruined" by the mic?  I guess you're entitled
to your opinion, but "ruined"?  That's fairly strong language.
