Rob, You're not factoring in the time that's spent learning and using (and swearing at) the software. Some of you enjoy the process and it's recreation for you. I can't stand it and I'd rather pay the $10 per roll for 36 slides, avoid the aggravation and do other much more enjoyable things with my time. The once a month ordeal of scanning a slide and resizing it for the PUG is more than I can stand. I'm in a bad mood for three days afterwards. Some like the digital process and some don't.
