i saw your post and didn't say anything at the time. it isn't what i
remember from reading the Pentax press release. the release was referring
specifically to compact digital cameras. i think the Pop Photo quote is
wrong.

FYI, A couple weeks ago, I passed along comments from the president of
Pentax (reported in Dec. '05 Pop Photo) that they would be increasing
their profitable DSLR introductions from two to three per year. I
gather they will start in '06.
