I do think that what you have written is a pretty limited view of the options available to many people these days. A print can be the end of wet of digital photography, there is very little difference these days, just ask the rows of plebs standing at the digital photo print consoles in most any supermarket. And there are plenty of labs that now offer to return prints and a CD of digital images with each processed film, the lines are definitely blurring. > You have to go through some conversion steps to get from one to the other. I do but the point is that now I could choose to leave it all to someone else (at the expense of flexibility and control of course) but not at a great cost.
